Ingredients
  • 1 - ½ ham spiral sliced - we use Sugar Tree Brand
  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Apple juice - for moisture
Instructions
  1. Bring the smoker up to 225 degrees using your favorite wood. In our case we use hickory.
  2. Place ham on aluminum foil and make a tent leaving the top and most of the sides open. Rub the ham and cook for 3 hours spraying ham with apple juice every 30 minutes.
  3. After 3 hours remove ham from smoker and rest for 30 minutes and serve.

  2. I’ve done hams with the Wright Bro’s BBQ style for years now and it never disappoints. It has also become my “go to” dish if I prepare a meal for a friend that has lost a loved one. When my parents died, so many people brought so many kinds of food, deserts and snacks because the days between the death of a loved one and the funeral can be quite hectic. With this ham recipe I have been able to take away some of the worries “what should we have to eat today”? conversations. Add some Kings Hawaiian buns and it’s the golden ticket
