Big Green Craig, who also happens to be #cookingonaLang, sent us a great dessert for Thanksgiving. This recipe is actually cooked on a Lang BBQ Smoker and comes out delicious! Candied Bacon Cheesecake, need I say more people?

Ingredients
  • CANDIED BACON
  • 1 Package of thinly sliced bacon
  • 2 C light brown sugar
  • ½ C real maple syrup
  • BBQ seasoning of choice. I used Meat Church Honey Hog
  • CRUST
  • 1 Sleeve of graham crackers
  • ¼ teaspoon BBQ seasoning of choice. I used Meat Church Honey Hog
  • ⅓ cup melted butter
  • Crisco
  • FILLING
  • 4 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1¼ cups sugar
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 Sleeve of graham crackers
  • ¼ teaspoon BBQ seasoning of choice. I used Meat Church Honey Hog
  • ⅓ cup melted butter
  • GLAZE
  • 1-3/4 C confectioners’ sugar
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • 3 tbsp. real maple syrup
